Adrian, first entered the Medical Devices Industry when he joined Intersurgical at the age of twenty-six as the nebuliser specialist. Knowing little about the industry but something about marketing, he soon became a product manager for the domiciliary and conscious care market. As well as marketing Adrian has enjoyed developing devices including the first fully Pneumatic Transport Ventilator, when he was the General manager at Sabre Medical, as well as a pneumatic oxygen conserving device. After a brief period working for Slater Labs of California, looking after their affairs in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Adrian, like many other people, was taken into the .com era, joining Science Warehouse an online procurement service. Returning to things all Inhaling, Adrian joined Bespak to market them as a service provider of outsourced capabilities to the Pharma and devices market. Adrian is now the Product Marketing Manager for respiratory and other product groups at Omron Europe, based out of the UK office at Milton Keynes. Adrian has regional marketing responsibilities, as well as business development and strategic marketing functions. Happy to be back with what he knows, Adrian is enjoying himself marketing a technology, vibrating mesh technology used to make drug aerosol. A technology, which is a real changer to traditional nebulisers and a future competitor to the Meter Dose Inhaler and Dry Powder Inhaler markets. Adrian has been a member of the MMG (Medical Marketing Group) almost the whole twelve years in the business. He has found the group to be invaluable for new ideas, as a soundboard and a wealth of information. He says he continues to learn something at every meeting he goes to and would recommend getting involved as a valuable addition to your busy diary. |
